Diasoft has been working at the financial institutions market since 1991. Today the company is the largest Russian provider of the leading edge IT solutions for all areas of crediting and financial institutions business. Diasoft delivers comprehensive systems of automation of corporate and retail services, financial markets services, accounting and reporting generation, management of economic activities and HR to its customers. The company is engaged in development and implementation of integration solutions, creation of information and analytical systems to control business activities of large financial structures, IT-solutions for insurance companies, non-governmental pension funds, corporate treasuries.

Currently more than 320 crediting institutions are using Diasoft solutions, among them 52 banks from TOP-100 list (Bank of Moscow, B&N Bank, Gazprombank, KIT Finance, Rosbank, Sberbank of Russia, Bank Soyuz, TransCreditBank, BG Uralsib etc.) and 31 banks with 100% foreign capital (Barclays Bank, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Dresdner-Bank, ING Bank (Eurasia), Royal Bank of Scotland, Mercedes-Benz Bank Rus, Toyota Bank, UniCredit Bank and others).

At present among Diasoft customers there are major Investment and Insurance companies, including Absolute-Invest, Troyka Dialog, Uralsib Capital, Uralsib Asset Management, Zerich Capital Management, S.L. Capital Services Limited, Ingosstrakh, Rosgosstrakh, Soglasie, Spasskie Vorota, IG Progress, Check Insurance company and many others.

Diasoft IT partners include global leaders of the information technologies market, such as IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Fujitsu-Siemens, Intel, Sybase, Sun Microsystems, Informatica, Scorto Corp., Stins Coman Corporation and others.

Diasoft among the first companies at the Russian market began using SOA technology for development and upgrade of the software products, as this innovative technology most fully satisfy demands of the current business in integration of software products and creation of common information space of a financial institution. In 2006 Diasoft was awarded the highest partner status of the IBM Premier Business Partner in the area of software products development. IBM also awarded Diasoft for achievements in the area of development and successful implementation of software solutions based on IBM SOA technologies in the category «The best software products developer on the basis of IBM technologies in 2007». In 2009 Diasoft received one more IBM award– «For development of solutions on the basis of the Service-Oriented Architecture in 2008». Diasoft became the first and the only developer in Russia who in 2008 passed the IBM certification for compliance with new requirements based on IBM SOA Connect è IBM SOA Exploit criteria. The company itself and the Diasoft solution were included into the global IBM SOA Business Catalog.

In 2008 Diasoft project teams completed 500 projects of different scales. The company financial indicators have grown by 40% as compared to the rates of 2007. More than 30 companies have become new Diasoft customers.

In the IBS Sales League Table rating, prepared by a British company IBS Publishing, Diasoft occupies the second honorable place, having raised one step up, among Russian vendors of software for banks by the number of contracts for delivery of the main banking systems in 2008.

According to the National Banking journal Diasoft has been included into the list of ÒÎÐ-15 most «stress-resistant» IT-companies, who successfully respond to the challenges of the economic crisis and have become reliable partners of the Russian financial and crediting institutions in the new economic environment.

 

Diasoft History

2007-2008 ãã.

Diasoft five-year strategy adopted in  2005 pursues the goal of  strengthening the company’s leadership at the market of financial institutions automation. The company objective is to become the best IT partner providing customers with competitive solutions and advanced project services.  The outcome of the company’s effort confirms the correctness of the chosen strategy: for the first time during the 17-year history Diasoft managed to reach the key indicators – this record characterizes Diasoft as one of the most dynamically developing companies.

In 2007 over 30 institutions became new Diasoft customers: Altaienergobank, Bank of Cyprus, Gazstroibank, Deutsche Bank  (Kazakhstan), Bank Credit Moscow, Bank Krainii Sever, CROSSINVESTBANK, International Insurance Group, Mercedes Benz Bank Rus, Moscow National Investment Bank, RegionInvestBank, Bank ROST, Russian Land Bank, Siberian Bank for Business Development, Toyota Bank, Transcapitalbank, MC Uralsib – Capital Management and some other financial institutions.  

Supporting customers’ business growth Diasoft implemented over 300 projects during the last-year period.

Since 2007 Diasoft has been involved in international projects. A good example of such partnership is Diasoft participation in E-Government program of Kazakhstan Republic with the view of launching the payment-information gate which will enable natural persons to pay taxes, fees and for public services, using their credit cards accounts.

At the end of  2007 Diasoft achievements were awarded by IBM in the category «The best software products developer on the basis of IBM technologies in 2007», and at the end of June 2008 Diasoft became the first and the only Russian company certified by IBM for compliance with new requirements based on IBM SOA Connect è IBM SOA Exploit criteria. The integrated Retail Front-office Diasoft FA# was included into the global IBM SOA Business Catalog.

According to Expert Magazine rating based on the results of 2007 Diasoft was included into ten largest software developers in Russia.

Diasoft  is a leader at the market of IT solutions in the  CNews Analytics rating, having ascended 11 positions  up, as compared to 2006, having  become one of  50 biggest Russian IT companies in the segment of software development for crediting and financial institutions.

 

2005–2006 yrs.

Having summed up the 15- year experience of work on the Russian IT market, Diasoft developed and adopted its corporate philosophy of symbiotic business, which reflects its mission and key values. This philosophy and the customers growing needs underlay  the company’s development strategy for 2006-2010. The strategy envisaged realization of a comprehensive plan for development of high-quality software products, functionality and services required by financial institutions, and a program for the management system improvement.

The primary goal of the Diasoft main product strategy is realization of IT solutions on the basis of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in best  interests of the customers. The company is developing a large-scale project for creation of new open Diasoft FA# Financial Architecture, comparable by its characteristics with the best western banking products. Diasoft FA# is a complex of a next generation software products, including the system kernel, products of front-, middle- and back-offices and reporting system, built up as independent functional services and incorporated by the integration platform. Diasoft FA# includes new solutions, realized in SOA, and famous software products of 5NT and Master lines. Diasoft created its SOA- solutions based on the experience of the company strategic partner - IBM, a leading international provider of SOA technology.

Diasoft has achieved significant results in further development of the Diasoft FA#: the company experts have developed interfaces to the existing modules, a series of a new generation products on the basis of J2EE technology has been created — an integrated retail front-office, Data Marts  for regulatory reporting, Processing and Interaction with BCH. A new project to transfer  the main modules of Diasoft FA# -  General Ledger (the core system of integrated projects in largest banks of Russia) and the credit back-office to the SOA-platform has been launched.

The Diasoft retail front-office was the  first solution in the Russian market certified by IBM as filly-compliant with SOA principles, and it was included in the global catalog of the SOA-software solutions - IBM SOA Business Catalog. The system is capable to simultaneously process up to 10,000 concurrent  system user  queries  and automatic system hits to the database, which contains data on 5 million clients, 20 million accounts and 100 million documents.

The first large-scale projects have been integrated in banks using Diasoft solutions with third-party software.

The number of Diasoft customers  among the largest banks in Russia has increased: in 2006 Diasoft solutions were used by 52 of the top 100 major banks (in 2005 their number was 48). Large projects were implemented in the following banks: Gazprombank, Bank of Khanty-Mansiysk, Renaissance Capital, Yuniastrum Bank, International  Bank of Moscow, TransCreditBank, Soyuz, KIT-Finance, and also in Progress-Garant Insurance Company, GUTA-INVEST investment company, and Megatrastoil Investment Company and other insurance, investment and management companies.

2003–2004 yrs.

At the end of 2002, the international certification authority TUV CERT conducted a certification audit in Diasoft company, upon conclusion of which in March of 2003 a certificate was issued by TUV CERT authority regarding compliance of quality management system to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 requirements. At the end of 2003, a supervisory audit conducted by TUV CERT company's representatives confirmed the conformity of Diasoft company activity with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 requirements. The company's solid financial security was attested by results of annual international audit conducted by Ernst&Young company according to IAS requirements.

In July 2003 the Board of Directors of Diasoft, in the context of the company's corporate development strategy, made a decision on pooling the working centers WorkFlow and 5NT into the Banking Technology Centre of Diasoft company, including delegation of responsibility for further development and promotion of Diasoft company's bank brand to the new subdivision. For the present moment, the Banking Technology Centre of Diasoft company possesses the rights to the three brands widely known to banks: 5NTe, WorkFlowe; and 4x4 for DOS. The purpose of pooling working structures that previously had been functioning independently and before the merger had already been the leading providers of solutions on the market of banking automation services is the deep integration of the best wholesale modules 5NTe with the best retail and card solution WorkFlowe.

Active cooperation of Datagy working centre with Alfa Bank continued: in 2003 of the data display unit was created to provide formation of management accounting, in 2004 the project of the accounting was developed on Datagy basis. In June 2004, Diasoft Company gains the Oracle partner status (Oracle Partner), Diasoft company Datagy working centre and Oracle company start the team-work for creation of a corporate data repository in NOMOS-Bank. In October 2004 Aeroflot-Russian Airlines Company chose Diasoft Company as one of key data warehouse supplier.

In 2003, Progress-Garant, Russian Insurance Centre and Progress Neva insurance companies became the clients of Master working centre. Rich functional capabilities and reliability of Master INSURANCE solution was worthily appreciated such leading players of Russian insurance market as: Rosgosstrakh, Spasskiye Vorota, Soglasie and others. In 2004 the project with Ingosstrakh Company was launched: Master INSURANCE based on Oracle database was implemented at the company that would allow it to solve the current task at new technological level.

In December 2003 Diasoft company was awarded to IBM Advanced Partner (Advanced Partner) status in the field of software, in April 2004 – to Microsoft certified partner status –Microsoft Certified Partner. In May 2004 Diasoft became the member of Oracle Partner Network, and in July established partner relations with BEA Systems.

In May 2004, it was declared about creation of integrated system for work automation on financial markets – 5NTe TREASURY. The bundled software that is distantly and successfully accepted on the market served as the basis for the new Diasoft solution: integrated stock system 5NTe CUSTODY as well as monetary and foreign currency market operations automation system 5NTe DEALING, the modules of which formed the bank office 5NTe TREASURY.

In 2004 new retail solution – 5NTe RETAIL – was developed and launched, it has united all the main sectors of banking services: deposits, credits, cards, payments, currency operations etc. This solution has gathered the best features and experience of the company’s retail products. At the end of 2004 a contract on 5NTe RETAIL implementation at one of the largest retail bank of Russia (one of Top10) was signed.

At the end of June 2004 the agreement was signed regarding strategic alliance of Diasoft company and one of the leaders in the field of remote service systems development – Czech company BSC Praha. The subject of the agreement is cooperation of the companies in the field of development and promotion of integrated solution for the bank's clients remote service – Diasoft GEMINI system – on the markets of Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Byelorussia. Now Alfa-Bank is accomplishing the project of direct banking where Diasoft GEMINI serves as a basis, because it meets the key requirement of Alfa-Bank IT-strategy in retail business.

In September 2004 Diasoft and FBC companies worked out the solution “Accounting by IAS” that allows forming the accounting by international standards according to both the requirements of the Central bank of RF and international auditors. This solution has been implemented at one of Russian leading audit and consulting companies.

In 2003-2004 Diasoft Company was developing its project of automation of banks’ intraeconomic activity managing. Today Master BALANCE is a modern solution for inner resources managing at financial realization, it is realized at MS SQL platform. A large number of Diasoft customers, including Small Business Credit Bank, Probusinessbank, Soyuzny bank, UNIASTRUM BANK etc, are using the new version Master BALANCE.

At the end of 2004 Diasoft Company has successfully passed the audit and confirmed that its quality control management satisfy the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 standard.

 

2001–2002 yrs.

International standards compliant quality control system construction has begun. Bringing the activity of main subdivisions to conformity with ISO 9000:2000 standards. The company underwent the annual international audit by Ernst&Young company according to IAS requirements. Output of banking automation system in 5NTe Internet0shell to the market. Formation of Datagy working centre for development and implementation of data repositories. Creation of international subdivision Diasoft Financial Technologies, aimed at supply of Diasoft company products and services to international organizations, working in Russia, as well as to financial institutions in other countries. Certification of integrated stock system 5NTe CUSTODY by Sberbank of Russia. New corporate web-site and new company's logo. Large-scale implementation of our solution at the following commercial banks: AK BARS Bank – 5NTe, WorkFlowe, Master, BaikalBank – WorkFlowe, Avtogazbank – 5NTe, Nurbank – New Athena; Alfa Bank – Datagy; ABN AMRO – Flextera; in Ostra-Kiev Insurance Company – Master.

Corporate income in 2001 amounted to $11.4 mln, and in 2002 - $13.4 mln. 1999-2000 yrs.

Gaining the S.W.I.F.T. Registered Vendor status. The first installation of DiasoftBILLING system among communications enterprises. Organization of Diasoft 2x2 project for development of software products allowing for banks and insurance companies to work in the Internet environment. Issue of the WEB-solution for commercial banks that provides Internet-banking and development of web-sites using built-in tools. DiasoftINSURANCE system is installed in insurance companies Angarsk-TASO and Energopolis. Since 1995, Diasoft company every year stably takes the first position in banking systems developers ratings of expert companies Splan and Laminfo. According to 2000 year results, Diasoft company entered the top triad of dominant Russian firms-developers of business software. Beginning of realization of the largest contract for installation of IDBMS New Athena in Promstroybank of Saint-Petersburg. Job objective: provision of centralized data processing for the whole branch network, including over 1000 automated workplaces and over 100 thou documents a day. Issue of new generation systems: Diasoft BANK 4x4 WorkFlow and Diasoft BANKING 5NTe. Certification of Diasoft 5NTe solution by Sberbank of Russia. Entering into a number of contracts for banking automation in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzia and Armenia. New Athena system was installed at commercial banks Avangard and Promsvyazbank. Over a half of foreign banks working in Russia use Diasoft software. Diasoft company is the absolute leader according to tender results that were held in 1999-2000 yrs. Integrated solution 5NTe is put into commercial operation in the following banks: ABN AMRO Bank, Visa, Investment Bank Corporation, Lanta-Bank, Spurt, TransCreditBank, Bank CentroCredit, Expobank, with average number of workplaces from 100 to 200.

The number of persons employed has reached 400 persons.

Corporate income in 1999 amounted to $8.1 mln and in 2000 – $8.7 mln.

 

1997-1998 yrs.

Preparation for transition to the new chart of accounts. Rendering of assistance and consultations to commercial banks regarding work by the New rules of accounting: conducting of over 30 field seminars devoted to transition technologies, organization of consultative support Centre for banks, which works in the hot line mode, replication and distribution of the book on transition technology with comments and explanations to all banks, free provision of proprietary software product, allowing to form correspondence tables during the transition period, to all interested credit institutions. Output of joint solution “Reuters-Diasoft” on the basis of Kondor+ and DiasoftDEALING products. Winning the tender of Inkomban regarding monetary offset system. Certification of DiasoftBANK 4x4 system by Sberbank of Russia. Signing of agreement for automation of the Central office of SB RF. Output of the first product working in the Internet environment for execution of home banking operations. There were over $3.5 mln of investments made into creation of software products for the stock and insurance markets. Contracts have been entered into with Ingosstrakh and Latvian insurance company BALVA for implementation of DiasoftINSURANCE. In 1998 Diasoft signed the contract unprecedented among Russian developers of banking applications with ProgramBank company regarding renunciation of competitive struggle and pooling of resources. Having overstepped one's ambitions for the sake of clients, the two Russian developers together managed to create the software product New Athena on the basis of DBMS Oracle, meeting the requirements of the largest banks, the product able to compete not only with domestic but with the best western ABS. Diasoft automated systems are launched in branch offices and the Treasury of Sberbank of Russia, in a number of the largest commercial banks in the country – Zapsibkombank, Inkombank, Moscow National Bank, Nizhegorodpromstroibank, in several foreign banks – ING BARRINGS, ABN AMRO, FINANS BANK, in investment, management and insurance companies. Deutsche Bank and BNP-DRESDNER BANK became the company's clients. The largest of contracts in the company's history has been entered into for automation of Vneshtorgbank branch network. While transiting to the new Chart of accounts the number of banks exclusive of affiliates increased from 150 to 310. Sales volume increased from $6.3 mln in 1996 to $11.3 mln in 1997 and reached the record point.

The number of persons employed has increased up to 300 persons.

1995-1996 yrs.

Mass distribution – over 1000 copies – of foreign currency exchange offices automation system DiasoftFOREX. Change-over of DiasoftBANK, DiasoftÑREDIT, DiasoftCARD and DiasoftCLIENT systems from DBMS Clarion to Btrieve. Awarding of the trademark 4x4 to these products. Simultaneously with appearance of forward banking operations market the company invested in creation of DiasoftDEALING system, allowing to work with new high-yielding forward instruments. Primary players of the specified market sector became the clients of this system: Mezhkombank and investment company Troika-Dialog as well as a number of other organizations. To provide activity automation for organizations acting on the stock and monetary markets, the crew was formed for development of products under the trademark Diasoft 5NTe. 5NTe products were switched to Microsoft and Sybase platforms. Creation of Diasoft MASTER direction for automation of accounting and intra-business activity of banks and comprehensive automation of insurance companies. First implementations of DiasoftBALANCE system. Launching of the company's web-server www.diasoft.ru. Certification of software products by the National Bank of Ukraine. Automation of Ukreksimbank and its affiliates. Introduction of new forms of work with clients: outsourcing, Money Back Guarantee program. The number of clients has reached 150 banks, including Arkhangelskpromstroibank, GUTA Bank, MIB Dalena, Devon-Credit, Zalogbank, Imperial with branch network, Metropol Bank, Moseksibank, Roseksimbank, Yakutzolotobank and others.

The number of persons employed has reached 180 persons.

1993-1994 yrs.

Organization of depositary group. Mass implementation of software products in banks and other financial organizations. Creation of integrated solution for banks on the basis of DiasoftBANK, DiasoftCARD, DiasoftDEPO systems. First implementations of depositary complex in JSC Surgutneftegas and OLBI-Diplomat. Beginning of cooperation with the leading consulting companies Deloitte&Touche, Price WaterHouse, KPMG. Creation of “Novyiye Bankovskiye Tehnologii” Association for interchange of experience and promotion of advanced solutions. Foundation of dedicated organization subdivision “Information Center” for rendering of comprehensive services regarding implementation of the company's software products and client support. Creation of analytical group with the purpose of research of new market and legislation demands as well as for development of conceptions of new systems and requirements specifications compilation. Development of consulting as a new area of the company's activity. Organization of work with a large quantity of clients. Goscomimuschestvo of Russian Federation jointly with Deloitte&Touche company chose Diasoft as the main developer of the Settlement-depositary system. Successful certification of DiasoftDEPO system by Deloitte&Touche company as the recommended software for independent securities registrars. The first implementation of depositary complex, realized in a client-server architecture in PskovBank. The leading Russian banks become the company's clients. Among them are Arcticpromstroibank, Gazprombank, DialogBank, Eurasia, Krasnodarbank, Commercial Public Bank, Levoberezhniy Bank, Montazhspetsbank, National Credit Bank, Euro Trade Bank, RSCB, Tovnarbank, Eleksbank and others.

The number of persons employed has reached 80 persons.

1991-1992 yrs.

Registration of the company. Creation of proprietary technology for software products development. Cooperation with Congress of exchanges. Creation of exchange activity automation system. Organization of inter-regional trading on the basis of Vilnius exchange. Automation of over 20 Russian exchanges. First implementations of automated banking system in CB Jugra (Meghion town of Tyumen Region) and CB Stroyinvest (Moscow City). Organization of advanced developments group. Creation of inter-bank clearing system jointly with Asiatic Banking group.
